Bellingen All Breeds 2014

What are you up to in October? Bellingen Riding Club and National Australia Bank is again hosting their All Breeds Show, to be held 4-5th October, 2014.

The All Breeds Show 2013 was a great success with competitors coming from as far as NSW/QLD boarder....this year it will be bigger! There will be classes for GFHHA registered horses (owners must be a current member) with some lovely sashes up for
grabs- this show is great opportunity to step back into the ring and get some feedback before the GFHHA's local show, Dorrigo and Guy Fawkes, at which our horses are featuring! With your support the All Breeds Show, and our classes, can establish itself as an annual event o the show circuit. A must show to attend:D

If your interested please email Liz Brooks of Bellingen Riding Club: moneve2014@gmail.com or txt: 0431881469

Coffs Harbour

100th Annual Show

This year marked the 100th anniversary of the Coffs Harbour Show and Guy Fawkes Heritage Horses were honored to be invited to be the feature breed!!!! The classes were among the largest in both the led and ridden rings and the show announcer did such a wonderful job of promoting our horses- not that they needed the help! Again we complemented by fellow competitors, judges and spectators on the presentation and behavior of our horses- It still amazes us that people are suprised at how naturally quiet are horses are! Congratulations to Guy Fawkes Carmella who took out the championship and Guy Fawkes Danny who was sashed Reserve. The same two horses went on to take out the same two positions in the Australian Brumby classes. Congratulations also to Guy Fawkes Legacy and Guy Fawkes Carmella who placed 2nd and 3rd in the Open Hunter in Hand class against a great line up of bred horses! Fantastic to see our horses competing and placing in the Open ring!!!!

Grafton Show 2014

Another well attended show for the GFHHA classes at Grafton this year! The comments from spectators, other competitors and judges were all so positive and the naturally calm temperament of our horses shone through yet again, especially considering several of the horses shown were at their very first outing and a couple had only been removed from the park 2 months ago. Congratulations to Micheal Bowhay's colt Karala Midnight Express who was sashed Champion and to Kate Young's black Gelding Guy Fawkes Legacy who won Reserve Champion!

Check out our new video! Recently,  Daily Examiner journalist Debrah Novak visited our horses at the holding block in Ebor. Debrah has complied this short video, interviewing GFHHA President and horseman Digby Foster and captured some footage of our wonderful horses- Thanks Debrah!
