Dorrigo Show 2013

Congratulations to everyone who attended the home town show of the Guy Fawkes Heritage Horse! Dorrigo and Guy Fawkes Annual Agricultural Show was held 23rd-24th November 2013 and it was lovely to see GFHHA registered horses competing not only in the led GFHHA classes but also in ABHR classes and the harness section. Christine O'Rourke and her palomino gelding 'Northern Rivers Billy Tea '  did very well in the led classes placing 2nd in the Under 3yrs GF Horse, 2nd in the gelding class and also received Reserve Champion Led GFHHA. 'Billy Tea' and Christine also went on to win every harness event they entered!!! Huge congrats on a massive effort Christine!   Of course 'Guy Fawkes Carmella' was there with her owner Erica Jessup- together they won the led GFHHA registered mare class and placed second on the led Colorama class. The winner of  the Champion GFHHA sash was 'Guy Fawkes Yuundu' (AKA 'Horse') owned my Jamie and Kate Young. 'Horse' also won the Led GFHHA Under 3yrs class, the Led GFHHA Gelding class and placed 2nd in the Led Saddle Pony Gelding class receiving some lovely comments from the judge and an indication that he should continue to get better and better with maturity.

Check out our new video! Recently,  Daily Examiner journalist Debrah Novak visited our horses at the holding block in Ebor. Debrah has complied this short video, interviewing GFHHA President and horseman Digby Foster and captured some footage of our wonderful horses- Thanks Debrah!
