 If you are interested in entering your horse in classes at Agricultural shows, please contact Christine corourke17@bigpond.com.

Prize-money and ribbons will be given in our classes. There is also the Hi-point score competition, open to all current paid members with registered Guy Fawkes horses. Entry is covered by membership and registration fees. This competition runs from 1/08/2009 - 31/07/2010. There will be four trophy rugs awarded for the following achievements-

1. Heritage Halter Horse

2. Heritage Horse shown by junior (under 18)         

3. Heritage Horse shown under saddle

4. All-rounder Heritage Horse

Australia Day 2010

Once again, Guy Fawkes Clyde has done his breed proud by playing a huge part in the Australia Day 2010 ceremonies in Dorrigo, NSW. Pictured here with his owner, and GFHHA Committee member, Mr Arnold Ducket dressed in their Light Horse Brigade uniform and displaying the GFHHA banner.

Channel 7's RSPCA Animal Rescue recently featured our horses on their show!

The lovely bay filly 'Guy Fawkes Casurina' AKA 'Cassie' was the focus of the show highlighting her adventure from the GFRNP to her new home with Arnold Duckett and family in Dorrigo. Arnold is every day, suprised and amazed by this filly's intelligence, willing attitude and want to be around people and says that she is one of, if not THE smartest horse he has ever had the pleasure of working with. It took no more than 3 months to bring this filly from wild and untouched to tame and saddle broken! 

And for those who did see the show and inquired about the Associations coacher mare 'Mrs Maskie'....as we saw on the show, 'Mrs M' had a bit of a rough trip home to the Guyra block with another of the horses picking on in the truck- she suffered a couple of grazes but healed up within a couple of days and on the 27th October she had a beautiful buckskin filly! The buckskin colt shown on RSPCA Animal Rescue who was running with the mob and is also out of 'Mrs Maskie' is available to purchase- see him on our Sales page.
